Question b16a2 5 speed swap

hey everyone im on a phone so bare with me but i have a few urgent questions ok i own a 96 ac teg ls autn trans and just got a good deal on a wrecked 2001 civic vtec with manual trans b16a2 motor the question is what all would i need to put the motor in the teg and go manual and could somone give me steps help would apreciated

The civic is a 99-00 as there was no b16a2 in 2001.

Also, a b16 in a teg isn't going to be much fun to drive. It will have top end but getting it going is going to be very boring.

The teg needs a motor above 1.8 really

i got this for 200 and the kid had skunk 2 cams hondata s300 and a turbo makin it push 298 hp so can it be done

just use the b16's tranny with your b18b. if you bought the whole car wrecked, take the turbo and all other parts and put it on your b18b, take all it's mt parts for your conversion, then sell everything else.

ok but my engine rolled the ntmber 3 rod bearing so in time overhaul s o b16a2 for right now but my q is wil it bolt right in and what axlles and motor mounts

teggylife will become famous soon enough
i have a b16a2 in my teg right now too. I baught it like that cuz my gsr was slamed, but i believe the motor is a drop in. Im planing swap it out with a gsr soon. Just letting you know, as every one said= not fun. Vtec kicks in around 5.5 and his good high end, but lack TONS of toque from my older gsr. But its something you can do if you want for the time being. I say do it, and have fun.!
