b18b compression

150,000 on my engine
if i find that compression is not up to par
and i am planning on f/i
around 10 pounds boost or
whatever oem internals will take well

what internals or parts of internals will need to be replaced
with oem parts to regain correct "desired" compression

or is that an utter waits of time and should i just make upgrades in internals and not deny the inevitable

aka wanting more boost and risking breakage

havent tested them

soooo. want your saying is if your gonna do something do it right the first time and dont cut corners.

just trying to be modest with my car

not really looking at a fullyy built 20 psi ls
but i guess with a weak motor there really is not option but to strenthen it.

Not sure what you're asking, but...

the B18B has a static CR of 9.2:1, and when you run a compression test on each cylinders, the normal average is about 199 psi.

thatnks for the help

would a machine shop well versed is engine recycling
and rebuilding be ideal or a performance shop for a slight overbore and cylender prep
