first is it possible, and second, what else other than the stuff that would normally come in an engine swap would i have to change out.
also, know how sometimes parts are labled "type-R ***" like type-r cams or something liek that, are those parts made for type-r engines, or are they what come stock in type-r engines?
first, yes its possible
second, ur axle's ur cable assembly to a hydralic assembly for ur tranny (i think)
third, itr parts r marked not with a itr label but with a part number. everything n a itr is differnt from ur standard integra

i have 91 integra with what i guess is just a standard b18b motor? so if the tranny can stay, thats good, but would it be better to just swap it out anyway?
also, how much faster will a b18c5 be with i/h/e setup than a 91 integra with ram intake? i am looking for a fast car, but i am very poor so i decided i'm going to fix all the problems with my car, and just do over the engine - it was either that, or just buying another import with turbos (300zx, supra, or mr2) but i don't have 10 grand to drop on just a car...what do you think i iwll have to drop in order to get MY integra to be very quick and able to hold on my own on the street?

I have a 91 Teg as well, but I think you have the B18a engine. I'd like to what you're gonna do as well, but the C5 is way too expensive for me. And you thought you were poor. I'm gonna do an ls/vtec conversion with a b16a2 head on my block with beefed up internals. After that, maybe a turbo or a supercharger... not sure yet.
Having a 190hp motor isnt that bad...but one of the most overlooked areas when building a monster is gearing. The b18b is the least likely candidate for your b1c5 motor. Its long gear ratios will not aid you in reaching those upper rpms fast enough where the b18c5 G-spot is located.
I recommend a b16/ITR tranny, no exceptions. Its gearing is well suited and designed for the b18c5 motor. You will make use of all the power the c5 motor haqs to offer with the correct tranny.
Here we have a GS-r and ITR comparison...keep in mind THE LS and GS-r 1st-2nd gear ratios are exactly the same, from 3rd on it becomes closer.
*tuan's discussion on gear ratios/FD
As you can see when compared to a b18b in the 1-2 shifts...the b16/c5 tranny pulls about 300+rpm...making use of the ITR power potential. That about a 25hp gain because of gearing

yea, b18a, = x but i was thinking of going turbo too, but its daily driver, and turbo will have too much wear i think...so i wanna do whole engine swap, cus i think that will be best bet, i heard ls/vtec has to be done VERY VERY well or else there can be problems, but i don't know for sure, just word of mouth, so don't hold me to it = )
oh man, i don't know sh*t about gear ratios - is there a sticky or post anywhere about it where i can learn what it is? haha, even playing like gran turismo when you can change the gear ratio, i don't know what the f*ck i'm doing = )

Just an FYI, I know you don't have 10G's to drop. Are you aware of how much you'll be spending on the swap? It gets pretty expensive especially with the labor (which I assume you're doing based on your other posts).
My guess would be just about $6000 for the swap if your gonna have a shop do the work for you. That's a pretty hefty price for 35hp and 20 ft/lbs over a b16a which you can get for around $1000 +/- a couple hundred bucks. If you go this route you'd have $3000 grand (if you had 6,000 to begin with) to sink into the engine after installation and with $3000 invested into a b16a, that engine should have numbers well above the b18c5 (tq still sucks, but the gearing takes care of that). Or you could build a poor man's ITR, b16a head and a b18c1 block. Get the head p&p'd and a valve job, beef up the valvetrain and the bottom end and you'll have a great motor. Just some ideas.
