B18C5 + turbo???

hi everyone!!! I have an ITR... and I got kicked ass by MR2 turbo and WRX.... and Mustang GT (stright line)... so..I feel I need somethin more!!! MORE POWER!!... can I put a low boost turbo on my R??? without gettin new pistons and crankshaft....??
I live in Vancouver BC... and da shops around here.. they all say dat ITR compression is too high.. can't even put NOS on it...
is dat ture??? if ITR can get a turbo.... wut kind should I get? and does anyone knows any shop in Vancouver dat who does good job??? thanx~~ (my english sux.. hope u guys will understand) ^^

i know a guy that had nos and turbo on a itr engine............not sure what was done to the internals though
