i'd pick a b20, its powers are so enormous and quite well, but it can also be distroyed just like that if not built right.. to have a good and well maintained motor is to have it built right and kept in the best condition.. but i would love to have the best of both motors built down right from
Ported and Polished B16 head
cams
cam gears
valves
valve springs
Full-Race I.M
Full-Race T.B
Forged High Compression pistons
Jun Stroker Kit
New Mugen Gaskets
Chipped ECU
Hasports Mounts.. and yeah.. B20/Vtec is awesome

I'm pretty sure a 1993 Integra is OBD-1. So you need to use OBD-1 ECU and OBD-1 Dizzy on the CR/VTEC however I don't even trust myself enough to build a CR/VTEC mainly cause I havn't been to school to build engines yet. However it will drop in just as the stock motor fits, you'll need to use the transmission you have or B18A1, B17A, B16A, ITR or CTR though for it to be easier use a cable type transmission if thats what your car has. The transmission will bolt up fine. If you want 2.0L its best to start with the 2.0L block but you can use your stock B18A1 and have the VTEC head put on it and have the cylinders bored out to 84mm and resleeved which would be 2.0L same as CR/VTEC but much stronger than the CRV block because CRV/B20 engines are notorious for having "weak sleeves" though if built properly it shouldn't be a problem. As for the build read this and its best to have a shop assemble the engine for you.

LS/VTEC Article I put together

LS/VTEC
