Yep. The B20B and B20Z have the worst rod/stroke ratios of any other B-Series, excluding the old Prelude B21 and B20A5's. 1.53ish? FTL.

gsr r/s ratio - 1.58
ls/b20 r/s ratio - 1.54

not much of a difference. rs ratio is another one of those overhyped over exagerrated internet myths like needing backpressure.

properly build the engine and rs ratio does not matter. dont build it and as with ANY engine you'll have problems.

Nope, 1.58. B16 is 1.75 or 1.77 (forget which) which is ideal from what I've heard.

dude they the same as the LS(b18a/b18b)

a b20b/b20z block is the same as the b18a/b18b. the only difference is the bore b20b/z 84mm b18a/b 81mm. same crank same rods

No shit sherlock.

I thought it would be redundant to list 4 motors that are essentially the same.

Alot of bandwagoners like to steer people away from it for no reason, because they hear horror stories about people not building them right..Properly built LS or CR-VTEC= THE highest horsepower B series with a OEM crank.
his RT time was .980. i have a vid(i'll post it later). i was about to knock on the window to tell him to go.

an crx is lighter and a EG hatch and most likely he gutted the crx. my friends hatch has two 10" subs all the panels and seats.

the b16a has a r/s ratio of 1.73 which is damn near perfect. which is why it doesnt need a girdle like the gsr/itr when hitting high rpm's.
