Yep. The B20B and B20Z have the worst rod/stroke ratios of any other B-Series, excluding the old Prelude B21 and B20A5's. 1.53ish? FTL.

Nope, 1.58. B16 is 1.75 or 1.77 (forget which) which is ideal from what I've heard.

No offense, but that seems alittle off..my buddy ran high 13's in a crx with the motor that I have now(Stock ls block, arp rod bolts is it and a b16 head) trapping 104-105mph. granted it is a crx, but no the ls/vtec setup is not the devil. Alot of bandwagoners like to steer people away from it for no reason, because they hear horror stories about people not building them right..Properly built LS or CR-VTEC= THE highest horsepower B series with a OEM crank.
his RT time was .980. i have a vid(i'll post it later). i was about to knock on the window to tell him to go.
an crx is lighter and a EG hatch and most likely he gutted the crx. my friends hatch has two 10" subs all the panels and seats.
