Ball joint removal...?

Hey so i need to change my cv joints/axles and last time I tired I could get the ball joints to sperate. Any advice/tips?

Gotta be carefull and not damage the rubber surround. Can be costly to get a new one and press it in, other than that have fun.

I was suprised to see they were in very godd condition still. I thought they would be riped b/c my car is so old. Im always careful tho but thatnks for the tip.

ahhh! I went and bought that thing and they stll wouldnt come out. I ripped the rubber too! Im getting my girls dad to put them in for me tomorow.

There is a special tool you can also use. Tie Rod Seperator/ball joint seperator is what its called and it can use it to take the ball joint apart. Most likely the fork will mess up your boot so you'll have to replace that as well. Might as well anyways since you are reduing the ball joint. Just make sure you lube it up as well.
