Best CoilOvers for Teg?

Hey i was wondering why coilovers are better. Ground controls, skunk 2 or vspec coilovers? ground controls have 1 locking perch while skunks and vspecs have 2 but i've heard GCs have great ride quality. which is better? thx

I recently installed a set of GC's with tokicko shocks on my GS-R and am very happy with them they ride great ,they hold up good in the corners to. I have a buddy with skunk 2's and they ride really rough but everybody has there own likes, just my 02.

Not really cause your bottoming out the stock shock loosing some of your ride and handling.

coil overs (just the sleevs) are all the same they clunk around and dont sit firm on the shock. Get some real coil overs like neuspeeds, tein, or someone who makes a all in one true coil over.

I have the neuspeeds on my gsr and it rides like stock and it is slammed....

Unless you are actually gonna jack your car up and adjust all 4 wheels every month or so don't waste your money. The threads on most coils will rust if not used and coilover sleeves tend to make noise after some mileage. Buy Eibach Pro-Kit or Sportline liek peolpe have been saying forever. Then take the extra $100 and take your girl out.....or spend it on finding one if you haven't already.

Ground Control

true that ground control is really good i am happy wit my ride even though i still have stock shocks other brands r ok if u get shocks at the same time. i tried skunk2 before the GC and i was bouncin up and down all over the freeway.

Go with some Ground Control and Koni Yellows.
If you want a firmer ride you can always get the GC with stiffer springs, they put whatever spring rate in you want.

well thx for everyone on the input. i got my car lowered today with some GCs and i LOVE it!! it rides hella nice and looks so nice. its dropped 2.5 in front and probably 2 in back. i have stock rims on my ride. should i raise it a bit cuz im scrapping out of parking lots sometimes. im thinking 2.25 or 2 in in front. thats why i wanted coilovers so i can mess around with it and find out what i like. how low are ur drops on stock rims?

How often do you really adjust height? I say either a true coilover system or just get a nice set of springs and shocks.
