big bore and rod ratio

well, planning to go all motor with my gsr. want to get at least 200 whp and get a low 13 timeslip all while being daily driven.

gonna resleeve and bore my block with golden eagle to 85mm. thinking about 12:1 compression endyn pistons, but i read somewhere that that might be too high for a bore this big. if thats true, what compression should i shoot for?

also, want to switch over some parts to get a better rod ratio. heard that a b17 crank and ls rods make great ratios. if so, is it possible to get that in a gsr block, with out major modifications? will there be any clearance issues? or should i just stick with the gsr ratios? either way, planning to get forged eagle rods for better strenght.

any suggestions???

with that ratio being 12:1 you will have to use a very good fuel, VP perhaps

Sounds good, b17 crank with 85 mm bore will put you around 1.9L and give you a better rod ratio for high reving. Running that high compression will probably require you to use some kind of standalone like hondata, plus you would need to find someone to tune it properly for you but it's definately do able.
