When I get my pistons for my LS, do I have to hone the block? Or do I have to bore it to .25 mm? Or do I do both? I have 134k miles on the motor.
Originally posted by temp03 exactly, i recommend at least honing it when you replace pistons, and if the walls are beyond the service limit i recommend boring it 1st over
Ya listen to him, if the sleeves have flexed or aren't as straight as they should be then bore and hone then put in the pistons, or something to that effect...
