BOV problem

on my 99 gsr i have the greddy kit with intercooler and bov the fat chrome one with the purple top...anyways i cant get it to work ive adjusted it every way possible and it still wont work i thought maybe it was because it was tied into the same vacuum line as my boost gauge and boost controller. it seems like its not getting enough vacuum at soft settings it works but wont hold boost. and at higher settings it just flutters no matter what i do...any ideas or suggestions.....plz i have no leaks and im running 8psi on the street and 15 on the strip..........

is it a tial BOV, or an immitation?
how much boost are you running?
do you have any boost leaks?
if you could take a pic of the BOV that would be great

He has a Greddy Type-S BOV. Make sure you hooked up the vacuum line to the top nipple and leave the bottom nipple open. And if that dont work try getting vacuum from T ing from another source at your manifold. Most likely the fluttering sound may just be comming from turbo and not from the BOV.

Oh and the bottom nipple could be left alone open or to have the BOV open faster T the hose that leads to the boost source on your turbo housing.
