Brake issues...
Recently ive been getting some noise when i hit my brakes. Its like a screeching sound. I think it is coming from the back right (passenger) wheel. Everything looks normal, however I didnt take the wheel off. It only makes the noise sometimes, and does it the entire time im pressing on the brake. If i let off the brake, then re-apply, the noise goes away. Does anyone know what this noise is?

seems like pads to me.. most squeal to let you know they're about done too.
Yeah. Sounds like the wear indicators are lettin' you know that the pads are low. But like said above, could just be the pad sqeaking. Mine do time to time.

Im sure its not the pads. I know what a brake pad squal sounds like. This is VERY loud and very metallic sounding. Like metal on metal, almost like the dust sheild rubbing the rotor. Its only happening on one corner, the right rear, and it only happens maybe 45% of the time i hit the brakes. It it were the pads, wouldnt it happen every time? Also, if i let up and then reapply the brakes, it usually stops.

Probably not! It is more than likely the pad indicator telling you are low on pad or the pads just make noise. At the shop we used anti-seaze, like what you use on your lugnuts, to keep the brake pads quiet. Some of that on the back of the pads and the then the shims usually worked out well.

Becasue that caliper could be dragging a bit or the sliders may need greasing. Those are both plausable ways for a pad to get low faster than the others.

It was the wear indicator, to my suprise. The last owner changed only the front brakes, and not the rears. Thats why the rears went first.
Fucking Napa Auto sold me the wrong rear pads, so i only got to do my front brakes. I just cut the wear indicator off the rear until i can get new pads.
