I've changed my back pads and rotors. It was pretty simple and easy. no special tools. But when you get the caliper off you have to twist and push on the piston until you can fit it and the pads over the rotor. Once you take of your wheel youll know what to do.

Here's the run down for me.
Front- Take it apart and all and use a pair of huge ass pliers to push the caliper piston back in. To take off the rotors, and impact driver may be needed. It is a screw driver that you hammer and it twists.
Rear- Take it all apart and use a really big flat head pry bar to put into the piston slots and turn the piston back in. You will need the impact driver again to take off the rear rotors.
As for turning, unless you have a place you can do it yourself, just take them up to any shop you trust and let them turn it.
Now you can put it all back together.

Depending on the shop, you may find it less expensive to actually buy new rotors. Turned rotors are more likely to warp (less metal). Check out nopi, summit, groupbuycenter.com for some good prices on brembo blanks.

Impact driver

This one is a Craftsman bought at sears for ~ $25. They do have a cheaper model in a case, but its mail order only. This one they actually stock at the store.

What you do is use the phillips head and bang it with a hammer hard on the flat end while turning the impact driver to loosen the screw.

Here is the special rear caliper tool:

Also available at sears for ~ $12. It looks weird, but each side is made for a different caliper setup. Find the correct one to use and with a 3/8" rachet, you can now turn the rear caliper piston to its retracted position.
