Ive been smelling burning oil when i get on it and red line it in a couple gears.I don't smell it every time.I'm not loosing any oil and i just did a compression test and i got 242-240-240-240 so that looks good.Any ideas? its a jdm b18c(gsr)
"you can smellit". I imagine when you smell it while driving it can be oil dripping onto your exhaust from a gasket leak, or your engine's burning oil and a leaky exhaust. And at high rpms your oil pressure is highest so it would make sense (a leaky gasket). GET ON YOUR BACK & CHECK FOR LEAKS, BOY!
x2 is there any oil on your motor or bell housing?
I spilled some on it about 10-12 days ago wen i was filling but i would think that should be gone by now.Could it be because i have an exhaust leak and I only smell it when i get on it so could it be because vtec burns a little bit of oil and im smelling it comeing out of my exhaust?

plauseable. Check for leaks and sometimes you just smell it in your exhaust because you just burn oil in vtec.
