So, my 95 GSR already has some after market support to it, and as I have long term goals (looking to keep it n/a for as long as possible so I could get the most out of forced induction should I eventually choose to go that route) i figured i should start working upon the internals of the engine. I am willing to pay good money on quality as I would hate to keep buying new parts because I was too cheap and it can't handle on the long run but I also don't want to make a purchase that will hurt me in the here and now, my next purchase will be an AEM EMS v2 so that I may properly tune my vehicle as well as 350cc fuel injectors (stock injectors are having a little trouble keeping up) now my real concern come in to play when it comes to the parts I plan to purchase along with those I listed above. I wanted to purchase a Skunk2 pro series 3 camshaft, and to avoid damaging the valvetrain I plan on getting Skunk2 pro series cam gears, valve springs, titanium retainers as well as Skunk2 Ultra series valves. My hope is that replacing the valve train will make it sustainable with the more aggressive camshaft and the the AEM EMS will be able to tune it to stay responsive or functional in idle and low revs. Any thoughts or feedback? Has anyone done this before?
