The GSR is faster and looks 1000X (notice big X instead of small x) better, IMO.... both have an huge aftermarket available to them. Just decide if you want to drive a Civic or an Integra. Better yet, go drive both and see which one you like more.

since you own a lincoln you might like the luxury of the acura better. Not to mention it has a bigger motor, its faster, and it looks better.

i just got my gsr and i love it. wouldnt trade her for anything. its roomy and rides like a dream. but yeah, i say check them both out first before you go by anything we say. im sure if you go to the civic forum, theyll tell you to get the si. so check them out yourself. that way if you dont like it, you cant blame anyone but yourself

Yes, test drives help. I don't understand why more people don't just go out and drive what they want instead of postulating, test drives are free and fun. AFTER that is the time to really sit down and think about it, and ask questions in order to hopefully uncover things you didn't know before in order to help make a final decision.

since i have both cars in my household (my brother has a 2000 si and i have a 99 gsr) i would say that i would go with the gsr... i have driven the si numerous times, and even though it is stock at the moment, i liked the way my car felt betta when it was stock... as said above, if you get enough money from sellin your lincoln, i would try to buy an RSX type-s

Yeah this was not a good place to put a question like yours. Most people in the Integra forum are going to be biased. I would say it all depends what you like. I personally am not found of the Integra's looks. I can't explain why. Of course I am going to be biased towards the Si....duh , but it all comes down to what you like. And the GSR is really not that quicker than the Si. Stock for Stock the run similar times in the 1/4. And insurance maybe a little more due to the fact the Si seems to get stolen a little more ( read sig), but isn't that bad. Also what is your budget like and what year Si/GSR are you looking at . Because if you can afford a newer Type S you probably could afford the new Si coming soon, just food for thought. I think you would be happy either way.

I HATE the interior on the civics. No offense to all the civic guys but the seats sit way to high and you just dont get the "cockpit" type feel like you do with the integras.

I've never driven a DA. There is only a minor weight difference from what I know, and the B17, a stroked B16, gets its acceleration from a tranny with shorter gearing (SHO heresay) than the 94+ GSR. I don't know why the insurance is cheaper for the GSR, but I think the Si is more likely to crash or get stolen.

Shortly after it came out, the '99-00 Si was on the top ten TOTAL cars stolen... meaning that even though only a few thousand were sold each year, more were stolen than almost any other kind of car. That's pretty intense... Top that off with the fact that maybe one in 10 of the owners are over 40 and you have yourself some spendy insurance.
