Compression Test Went Wrong

Well this sucks balls. So I am doing my compression test right, because I have that little bit of coolant leaking from the corner of the head/block. So I took the leads off, took the plugs out, put the tester in the first cylinder and then decided to take the electrical coupling off the injectors. Well, I do the compression test, all goes well. Then I put it back together, go to start it and guess what??? yah, doesnt start. I re set the ecu and nothing. I guess I should have grounded the ignition system or something cause now I have no spark. I am about to test the Coil and ICM. It is friday have to drive home sunday so I need to get the parts today. Please if anyone has anything to say, say it. I guess I learned a lesson tho. I will keep you guys up dated.

Sounds like you forgot to plug one of the connectors in. Recheck everything.

no man, I blew my coil. I didnt disconnect the distributor so it had nothing to discharge to. so the coil didnt like that at all. I learned something tho lol. I have dont lots of compression tests before, but this was the first one whare I took the harness off. so if anyone is going to do one, make sure your distributor is disconected or that your leads are grounded.
