Connecting Rods?

What are some nice/cheap Rods for a B18b that i can get for a LS/Vtec set up..... i want to rev up to 7200- 7600K RPM safely.

setup: stock everything B16a1 head
and stock everything B18b block ...with stock ECU and A'pex Vtec controller.

i know crower's are good...but they are kinda expensive, are there any other brands out there that are cheaper. and i know people say , "u get what u pay for".... but any other after-market rods out there must be better than stock... Thanks

covered that over on my board in the articles section on swapping parts for hybrids and there are some basic rules to follow....

in general, Eagle rods are forged rods, lighter than the Crowers,...you want to change the rod bolts and bearings....

as I said, we go into more detail over there...

I can't break the rules here but Morning Z has a forum just for me...ain't I lucky? actually both Morning Z and De zoris both ex-SHO moderators have their own boards now and were gracious enough to lend me a hand with photo hosting and allowing me to mod on their sites. You know when SHO was down for 2 months in Nov.-Dec 2001, those guys took me in....so that's where I had moderated along with my SHO duties. But Mike stipulated that I could not moderate there if I wanted to stay here...so since i don't get paid or anything and don't like being told how to surf the net, it was the big adios from SHO. But yeah you can still visit me and the other ex-SHO mods over there...we kind of know a little more than we did when we were here....

gotta run or else the boss here will get all pissed off I even brought up the topic...please come and visit and say hi....
