whats the advantage of putting a b16 head on a stock ls engine block. I have a stock 97 ls and I am getting a b16 head for cheap. What are the gains as far as tourqe/hp? and vtec? Thx and sorry for the noob question. Couldnt find ne posts that gave me this info.
LS/VTEC dude, the Larger displacement of the B18B/B20 Block with a VTEC head mated to it. More displacement, with VTEC is the advantage, more of an all motor thing.

I wish... but no... my friend is all about cars... he has swapped engines and does it almost daily for friends and people. He enjoys it alot so he pretty much does it just so he can learn more about cars. Well he is going to walk me through it. I enjoy engines alot and I am trying to learn as much as I can. Well my damn car won't start and I just bought it 2 weeks ago. Time to make a trip back to the dealer. Well I hope something is messed up witht he engine so I can get a new one or something. I dunno wut to expect but I am definetly not going to keep the car if they expect me to pay more money for the damn thing. Later.
