Hey, as you know about a week ago I totaled my teg. When I went to start it up a little bit after the crash to back it up so I could get it on the wrecker it started right up. Now a week and a few days have passed and the batt is dead. I hooked cables up to the batt to jump it and all the lights came on and all but when I go to start it, it just goes click....click and the lights on the dash slowly dim. Whats the cause of this do I need to let it charge a little longer?

Charge a little longer and check the wires make sure there all in tight and also check your starter it sounds like it might be that since all it does is click.
If you can i dont remember how bad the crash was but if you can push it and pop the clutch it will start that way even if the starter is bad.

Im gonna assume you know where the starter is but just incase its right next to the transmission under the head but ontop of the block its a longthing that sticks out. While you start to crank the motor have somebody knock it with a hammer but not too hard and if it turns over like that your starter is bad. There should also be a wire hooked up to it make sure that is connected as well.
I tried it again and it started right up. Its dead again though I just needed it to last long enough to move to my backyard so I can start parting it out.
I Appriciate the help
I have another question. Someone wants to buy my engine. Its an Automatic with about 87K on it. Very good condition. How much should I sell it for?

i dont know how much those engines sell for in your area. Best advice i can give you is to search the classifieds in your local area and see what they are going for and that should give you an idea of how much to post it up for. Check the classifieds here and see how much they sell for.
