DA9???

jux bought a 1991 integra. love it but dont know what i have in store. its black with the stock b18a1 5 speed, 3rd and 5th grind. when i turn the wheel i hear a nasty squeel. alot of people tell me i should swap the heads off a b16 so that i can have v-tec. is that really a good idea???

Well, as far as the gear grind, you might start saving for a new tranny. Grinding is a sign of bad synchros, which = new tranny.

Swapping the head will give you more HP and torque, but its not as easy as it sounds. Thats something you should do research on, and check the previous threads on this site about the LS/VTEC swap.

As far as the squeal when you turn, check you power steering fluid, unless your ride is lowered.

the car is not lowered and for some odd reason its always when i am turning right into my driveway, but i will check that out.

im still a learner to the whole 5speed tranny so i think i will learn on that one and then get a new setup later on.

i heard that it wont be easy. but i know a few people who have been workin on this kind of stuff for quite some time. i might ask them for help.
