I'd also like to know cuz I plan on running Crower 402's with FI and it is possible, but I'm gonna do the shit right so I have no worries. I'm here to learn.

Camshaft intake and duration

To understand intake and duration you have to also understand what cam lobes are and how they look. Another thing you have to understand is piston to valve clearence.
A camshaft if you dont know, has lobes these lobes are not round they are an oval egg sorta way shape.those lobes ride on rocker arms wich push open your intake and exhaust valves to let A/F mixture in and let exhaust gasses out.
Lift and duration come from your cam lobes. The lift is measured wiht a precise tool called a dial indicator, it is measured in .010 thousands of an inch. the lift is how far the lobe opens the valve, example the maximum lobe lift is .174", that would be how far the valve is open. Where as in duration is how LONG it is open for, so now you would measure the lobe from the point at it starts openning to the point were it closes, and the duration determines how long the A/F mixture will be spraying in your combustion chamber.
piston to valve clerance is very important. If you change your valve sizes your valve will be openning longer, or staying open longer, you gotta make sure your valve do not interfear wiht your pistons... Sorry guys something came up but that is a short understanding of duration and lift. If have questions go ahead and ask...

why why why? it would not work well, you would have to tune the hell out of it and by that time you would be negating the effects of the cams, you know they do make turbo grind cams right?
