Eibach springs on stock shocks....

Im thinking about lowering my Integra with the Eibach Sportline springs on my stock shocks, does anybody have this on their car? Any problems? Will the ride be alot rougher than before?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I have intrax springs with stock shocks. I believe your Eibach sportlines are about the same drop.

I don't have a gap. And depending on how the roads are where you live, you probably don't want to go this low.

Take into consideration that your shocks will be sitting much lower, therefore causing your shocks to where much more than they normally would.

I have the sportlines w/ bilsteins, but on a 4th gen accord 4dr. I have no tire gap, and no rubbing w/ 205/40/17s, but you might want to rethink the stock struts. My ride is pretty stiff w/ the bilsteins and I think you will eat the stocks pretty quick. I wouldn't trade the struts for any other regular springs I've seen though.

Are you only considering the way it looks? if so that is very subjective.. if you are asking how your car will ride that is another question
I can't answer from experience but ... the shocks will not be able to keep up with the spring. It may work for a short while but not too long. the stock shocks can't keep up with the pro kit much less the sportlines. What will happen shortly is your car will bounce after a bump.
That is what the springs do and the shocks are supposed to damp the bouncing.

Check out the suspension forum and read the first few posts
