My fiance's Civic has always been noiser at idle than mine and I adjusted her valves to exactly .007 on the intake and .009 on the exhaust and the noise didn't change at all. Then I borrowed some sound deadening foam from my friends recording studio and just packed it tight around the injectors.....couldn't hear a thing at idle.....honda injectors are noisy.

Yes I removed the foam afterwards .

The tool needed for a b series valve adjustment is a glorified 10mm bent wrench.

I've had that problem on both my cars. On my Show civic, it was a loose bolt on my headers, on my turboed car, it was fuel intectors, i put in aftermarket fuel injectors and it stopped doing it, then it was 4 missing bolts on my turbo ha.
