Haha, yeah. I have had so many ppl tell me my valve train must be about ready to frag. and I reply, nope, just noisy as hell. I've popped my valve cover, and it's mint under there!!

Ohhhhhhh yaa...I remember. You're running the 403s w/ stock redline on stock valvetrain and you have no issues. Yea, it's even louder with the Crower VT.

I wanna say 6 thousandths for intake and 7 thousand for the exhaust, all in a weird order and rotate engine quarter turn, then another odd order...for a total for 4 engine rotations. Reserach to be sure. Don't just do it. They also make a special wrench to make the job 10 fold easier, found on ebay. Need to get mine done soon too.

You don't need anything fancy for the non-VTEC head, it's just a 10mm wrench, a flathead screwdriver, and a set of feeler gauges from any auto parts store. As far as how to do it, buy a manual or look it up online.

Valve tap or valveslap as some call it.. i have this and i adjust my valves once a month.. it only happens right after i change my oil for a few days then goes away.. everythings in spec too so i dunno what it is.. its annoying.. but it goes away.. its normal sometimes.. get your valves adjusted and see if that helps.

no piston slap is where the clearance betweeb the piston and cylinder bore is to great and the piston slaps or knocks on the wall makes noise and actually fucks up gas milegae and emissions etc. its not a good thing to have if you have it
