i wasnt sure wether to put this in the ls/vtec sticky or not, but it is more a general engine upgrade question, than an ls/vtec setup question.
i am going to go all out and upgrade my whole engine when i do the conversion, i am getting a gsr head, which i am going to get port/polished, but i want some opinions on what parts to use for the engine.
for the head, should i use crower camshaft, springs/retainers and valves, or go the skunk2 route, because skunk2 is more expencive, and want to know if its worth it? and are titanium valves worth it? and do i need to replace the rocker arms?
for the lower engine, i havent done a lot of homework on this so i need more info, and some background if possible, or some websites, but i want to upgrade my rods, and pistons, i want to go N/A all the way, and want the engine to be really strong, and the motor to get the most HP gains as possible. so which companies rods/pistons should i get, who is the most reputable?
want to get around 220 HP out of this, if that helps.
think thats about it, am i missing anything, just want to do this once, tune it and be done with it.
i know this is a lot of questions, but any opinion/critisizum will help.
