Unhappy every swap is different

ive got an ls and just bought a gsr complete swap for 1700 almost complete the engine is in a 95 civic coupe and he had sent his ecu to skunk to get it remapped i have a 2000 ls that i want to put the engine into cause the civic looks like crap. i want to know what do i have to do to make car run in my car do i need to buy a ecu or can i use the one i got?? i know bout everything else its just that kind of stuff gets me confused

you will need an ecu that matches the engine. there may be others that will work, but only the model ecu that is suppose to go with the engine is tuned for that model engine

the engine is 2000 so if i got one would i have to recode it for my car? for my immobilizer n what not?

whats your definition of recode? what year is your car? if youre talking about the immobilizer on your alarm, dont worry about all that stuff, its all under your dash, wired into the inside harness, not the engine.
