can i just get larger pipes and still keep the stock muffler...instead of buying a straight through muffler. will that give me power or will i still be restricted. thanks for letting me know. later and im out

Diablo3785 is an unknown quantity at this point
getting bigger pipes and sticking with the stock muffler aint a good idea. if you are gonna get bigger pipes then remember that 2.36in" is a good pipe size i believe. go about 3in" if you have a turbo in your car.
just get a catback system for your car. apexi ws2 or a greddy should do just fine.

there really is no point of doing that cause the muffler is a lot more restrictive than the pipe, if you wanna keep that oem look than splurge the cash for an oem itr muffler/or check out RS*R, they got good low key stuff

Forget the OEM ITR muffler. Even the ITR pipe at the cat has a restriction. Might as well get aftermarket 60mm cat-back system for what you will have to shell out for used OEM ITR stuff.

Doesn't matter which one you get, the 60mm tubing of all cat-backs mean there isn't much of a power difference at all. Its mainly sound.
