FPR for GSR w/mods....worth it?

I'm thinkin about picking up a B&M FPR for my 94 GSR. i have i\h\e test pipe, and port and polish as far as air flow mods go. I was wondering if I got a FPR if i would see decent gains by increasing the psi by 3-4... also if i did this would i benefit from getting a performance fuel filter to allow more flow than stock?

I would suggest this if you plan on getting your vehicle tuned afterwards. Also, you will probably want a piggyback unit like Apex-i VAFC, so they can actually tune. Just adding more fuel can actually hurt your performance if it isn't done properly.

Thanks for the replys, ya I found the FPR and guage for $80 so thats a pretty sweet deal.

I'm wondering though, would i need to get it tuned if i have an a\f guage and just made sure when i up the psi that it doesnt run on the rich side..? is that not technically tuning it to optimum settings yourself?

if you plan on messing around with timing then its a good idea.

an air to fuel gauge isn't going to tell you anything unless you have a wideband.
