so im doing a tune up and on my car and i ordered a aem fuel filter and my friend said thats stupid i shoud have gone oem fuel filter cuz the after market fuel filter isnt good for my car? is this right cuz i ordered them yesterday i can still cancel it
Why did you get an aftermarket filter? Looks? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It certainly won't help performance in any way. With that said I haven't heard anything good or bad about the AEM filter, but I still wouldn't trust it like I would an OEM filter.

I agree with White98LS. There's nothing wrong with the OEM filter. The only reason I see why I would ever get an aftermarket fuel filter (if that), would be if I were running a completely upgraded fuel system. Nonetheless, don't cancel the order b/c there isn't a need to do so either.
