yeah thanx man i just found a previous discussion on replacing one with the walbro one. Should i buy like a grounding strap for my wrist like when u change out computer parts? I dont do it with computer parts but i dont want to cause a spark and ignite all that fuel

Any shops charge at different reasonable price. why dont u pick up the telephone book and start dialing all the numbers to see which one is more affordable for u.

Otherwise, pick up the hayne or helm book and start reading about the fuel pump replacement. it'll tell you how to do it.

Helms is better its about a half hour to do. and you dont need a grounding strap. take off the fuel cap and pull the fuse for the fuel pump and start the car until it dies to get the pressure out of the lines.

use the helms manual that i posted a couple threads down. its the full manual on the internet for free. beats the 70 bucks i spent on my copy, although i wont ever regret buying it. hopefully that thread stays somewhat alive, alotta people need it
