Fuel Pump Replacement

I need to check voltage and possibly replace the fuel pump on my 1990 Integra...do I have to drop the tank?? It looks like the only thing accessable from the interior is the sending unit......Help Please!

And I already did a search.......no help there.

Well, it's already dropped and the pump's out...took about 20 mins, not too big of a deal...unfortunately, I tested the leads to the pump and no current..... dammit....I threw 12 volts to the pump and it sounds like it was spinning ok...I'll replace anyway while it's out....
Now I've gotta trace the leads to see if there's a short somewhere.
Anyone know if there's any reason why the computer might not send current to the pump? I was thinking it might be a sensor giving a bad reading to the computer, so the computer might not allow the pump to run....

Possibly, your honda/acura dealer can tell you if there is a fuse or what. But from what I heard it was a bitch to drop the fuel tank....that was in a 4dr LS but it was also by one of my friends so but you might have bad fuse, or bad ECU maybe....things like that can happen
