gauge hook up

so i have an oil pressure gauge. i plan on hooking it up soon, but i was looking for opinions on where to splice the wires. where is the best place for the power, the best place for the ground, the best place for the lightto turn on?

the best place for a power wire is through the fusebox to an accessory that is only on when the car is on, same for the illumination, ar only when the lights are on. ground...anything metal.

For the sensor itself. I took out the stock oil pressure sensor. Hooked the stock wire and the gauge wire to it. Because the aftermarket oil pressure sender is bigger, I used a crv oil filter. You can get integra oil filters to work as long as they are small in diameter.
This is for an electronic gauge of course.
