A friend I have knows this boy who is selling is 94 LS teg. I talked to him tonight, and we were talking about his car, he took me out to his house and let me take a peek of it, since it was going to rain here, he didn't have it out. Here are the details
-cat back exhaust -clean turns -adjustable coilovers -18" excel rims -AEM cai -full lip kit -black aftermarket tail lights -black paint job with alot of metallic red flakes (like a year old i believe) -170,xxx Mi -Basically perfect body -Never Smoked in -Never ran to hell and back.
So anyways, we were talking, and I knew he was asking 6k. So i was like, so you goin' best offer or not, and are you keeping everything in it. He goes, well, i have the stock wheels, stock tails, stock turns, etc. etc. etc. He said he wanted 6 to pay off his truck, but if he took the stereo system out (cd player, amp, and sub) he'd knock some off. so then, ( to cut hte long night short) he said he'd give it up to me for 5,000$ w/ no system.
Do you guys think this is a good deal? I'd load pics, but my damn fone aint working too well!

I'm sure the car looks great but the amount of money you need to dump into to it to at least rebuild the motor in a year or two is what would discourage me. Not to mention if you go ls/vtec or turbo.
Looking back at your post it's not a horrible deal, but it isn't a great deal either... The price all depends on the math you do on the modifications and the KBB value. Some will say Mods. reduce the value, I personally don't agree with this but... The car is going to be your passion and the cost of it is always dependent on the buyer.

just get a stock one and do all your own work, its more rewarding. but it seems like what ever the year car it is is how much in thousands it is. like the 94 would be 4g's, check all them sites and shit print it off and show them.
