gsr blade rims VS si rims

does anyone know which year these rims came out for gsr's? 00? and in some pix, they seem kinda dull, aren't they shiny?

i heard SI rims were about 16 lbs, how much do the gsr rims weigh? if anyone knows, please reply, thanks.

** if anyone has gsr rims on a civic, please post =)

I think they did come out for 2000, since I have one myself. I think the GS-Rs look better than the Si rims and they weigh around the same. But if I were you, I would go with the GS-R rims- that's just me though... Here's some pics of my car so you can decide for yourself...

Nice car!!!
Nice and clean.
I picked up a pair of "Si" wheels for my sister's 97 White LS.
MAN now I wish I would have held out for the 00 GSR wheels.
Oh well the Si wheels look better than stock LS hubbies!!!

Question Undien717:

What side skirts are in that pic?
Stock sanded and painted?
Stock Type R skirts?

Thanks
Keep up the good work

undien717, nice car, looks damn close to mine. I'm getting Rota C8's too, so our cars will continue to look similar, except your wheels will of course be lighter and nicer. I was happy to see that I'm not the only one who painted their sideskirts and didn't paint the whole thing like the Type R ones, but kinda matched the paint cutoff point up with the body at the back of the skirt next to the rear wheel, you probably know what I mean. I think it looks less tacked on that way.

By the way, those wheels first came out on 1998 GS-R's, then I believe the '01 LS/GS came with those too.
