Hey its been a while since ive been on these forums but anywho ill get to the point. Im swaping a unknow year GSR in my civic. I got it from a friend and all the hoses and sensors are missing on the intake manifold. My favor is if any one on these forums has a picture of how the hoses go under the intake can u post it. It has the odd intake that bends up btw. Anyone also how would i reroute the throttle cable. Yes i have searched!
I figured i would post it here cause it seems like an integra thing even thou its for a civic. If not mods can move it.

that's a bit tough. i'd look at a diagram or something from acura. however, i'll go ahead and take pics of my intake manifold since i had the same problem with my swap
ok thanks man. Im glad i still get the help on this site like the good old days. I looked into it a little deeper and i figured out that theres only a few sensors missing. And the IAB on the intake manifold it missing.. also the silonoid that goes with it. I was reading on another site, i believe club civic, anyways it said vtec with more likly work with out it, it just wont engage as smoothe. But yea if u would snap a few pics... that would be awsome...
I believe one of the sensors missing is the TPS on the throttle body, its looks like it was just ripped off.. lol i dont know... But i have the one off the single cam i can use. And or i think i might have one off the original intake that came with my b20z2 when i first got it. well if they fit....
umm lol, well. just the bottom i think, i dont know if u could really get a decent one from underneith the car. But if u want to take some side ones and maybe a top one that would be cool. Also how do u have ur iab ran?

Do you know wat other inakes will work, i know the jdm gsr one will also any blox or skunk 2 one for a gsr will. right?

hey! sorry man, i'm a nurse, i just got home lol. anyway, i can still get the pics. as far as other manifolds, did you want to head the aftermarket route? i hear edelbrock makes great ones. i'll get the pics right now, but i don't have a jack to get under the car so i'll just do my best to follow all the hoses for you.
Thanks man, umm im glad u know how i feel lol. I kinda want to just stay stock for now. Im actually doing this for a friend, i talked him into buying a civic and he wanted it to be faster so i told him to buy the gsr and now were stuck. Like i said earlier its missing alot of stuff on the inake so i might just have him buy one off ebay or craigslist or something. But someone told me that the c1 head is the only oddball and u can only get a few different intakes that will bolt up without mods. And i dont really know wat to do now, i dont want to make him spend any money that isnt reguired.

it really depends on how much is missing. but if you need a new manifold, i might be able to help. what's your email? i'll send you the high res images.
Good morning, but anyways my email is tylerhager222@msn.com. U said u had another intake, does it have everything? I was looking at my tb and its missing the tps sensor. I pulled one off a b20z2 tb i had sitting in my closet but it was an automatic and also the plugs dont look the same maybe obd-2 idk. But yea if u would send those images and maybe a pic of the intake and maybe a price. I live in central oregon so i dont think it would be much to ship.
After looking at the single cam engine i think i have figured out where every hose goes. not 100% sure but i think. I could still use the pics thou... So far the last few days i have goten a little bit done, ive been really rushed cause i start school tomarow and wat not. The things that still need done
theres a sensor on the single cam that i believe is just a breather, its a little black circler thing with a plugend in the bottom on the single cam, the gsr is missing it, i might try to just unscrew and take it off the single cam and see what happens.
Also another problem, we are missing the iacv thinging. The one that came with it looks different and dosnt bolt up correcty. I pulled the one off the single cam and one off the a b20z2 intake i had sitting in my closet. there both wrong. Only one bolt lines up.... i dont really want to use one of the ones that only is held on with 1 bolt becaust that really dosent seem safe.
And last problem i cant figure out is the map sensor, on the civic single cam the one was on the TB, the the correct gsr one i believe is vacuum. I have the b20z2 tb that has the map sensor that goes on the tb but i didnt have time to see if it would fit. Its also for an automatic and i heard auto and manual tbs are different so who knows
btw we decided to run the p28 obd1 ecu and dizzy, i know now that i dont need the iab and it will have to be chipped before it will run correct. Anyways thats were this project stands. I dont think i will be able to get to touch it untill thursday night because ill be busy with the first week of school. But any advice or what not would be helpful!
