Exclamation Gsr turbo setup on a lS engine will it work

can anyone tell me if a gsr turbo setup is any different then an LS.

it should work .. im no expect on turbos though, you'd have better luck in the turbo forum.. i think the only thing different on the gs-r turbo setup is you have to retard the timing and little minor adjustments

no because of 2 things, the head of an LS is different than the GS-R. the studs have a different patern, so u would have to get then LS turbo exhasut Manifold. and the other reson is because the pip that leats the the throttle body is different because the intake manifold has a different shape so the throttle body is located a lower then the LS

You are half right, all B series engines have the same exhaust manifold bolt patterns and can share exhaust manifolds.. The ONLY difference will be that you will need to make some custom piping from the intercooler to your throttle body which is not a very big deal if you are getting the kit for cheap. PM me if you need a DIY mandrel bent piping setup so you can custom make your own

my bad, i thought since the pattern of the studs for the intake manifold was diff. that so was the exhaust. i don't know y they do that, but i think it's pretty stupid.
