GSR vs ITR
This is really a kinda stupid ricer question but I'm gonna ask anyway.
I’m thinking of buying an ITR (never even driven one) after owning a couple GSR’s. I know the specs of both cars hp, tq, codes all that stuff. I guess even though knowing all the differences between the two, stock for stock is there an actual noticeable difference in driveability? I’ve driven same vehicles that have a few differences when down on paper, but when actually driving them you can’t really tell a difference. So bottom line question, after owning a GSR is it worth buying a ITR? Will I actually be able to really tell the difference? I'm asking cause I'm going to have to make a drive to buy one and if it's not really much of a difference really between the two than I won't bother and look into something else like a s13 sr20 .

No a ITR is not worth driving far away and paying 20k because you could buy a gsr for 5 and put some money and be far superior than a ITR and be a 1/4 of the price, ITR's are good for bragging rights and 5 lugs, which also can be had by all. I dunno that's my 2 cents ultimately it's your choice, nobody can tell you if it's worth it or not, you have to decide that.

not worth it but you can't build an itr out of a gsr.. unless you can flip it over and weld all the seams.

They are over rated in there day they were ok, but now days they are just for bragging rights or just to say you have one. They were never that fast in a straight line a Prelude or a boosted D series would eat one up. On a road coarse they are pretty good, It was said that the Integra Type-R was they best handling front wheel drive car on the earth at one time.

how many people have actually driven the 2? cause I havent, but the one guy taht owned the gsr and then bought a itr was amazed. I bet it is a big difference. It will be way lighter on its toes and bla bla bla. but there is a guy on here taht bought a type r after having gsrs. see what he has to say. I think that the type r will feel like you are driving a race car on the road.

ive driven both.. heres what ill tell you.. stock for stock.. the ITR will feel more raw.. the vtec on an ITR is different from a GSR. unless you are going to mod the car (higher profile cams/ hondata/ vafc/ CAI/headers/ exhaust... etc... ) then you wont feel that same expirience.
my best bet.. to get an ITR feel is to buy a GSR and swap an ITR motor in it later down the road... ITR motor <-- hand built GSR motor <-- not hand built...
a gsr with a fair amount of mods feels just as good enough not sometimes better than an stock itr... its all up to you..

Actually less than 2 years ago, Evo Magazine (awesome UK mag) declared it the best FWD car ever made, beating even the new competition.

An fwd EVO? I don't think so. They are awd aren't they, Even if there is ones that aren't, I doubt highly they can deal with a R on a road coarse

no no dude, the magizne is called evo mag. It's not about just mitsu evo's I dont think.
And yes all real evos are AWD. I read the article your talking about previously white98.
There is so much praise in general for the Integra as a perfomance car, the ITR is just the best and most raw form of it you could buy from the factory.
Sure you can make a GSR faster, and prob. handle better, but there are little attentions to detail that Honda put into that car that only the most professional car builders could ever imagine changing on a regular production run car.
I'd love one, I'd bet it would be one hell of an experience, plus ITR's look like sex straight from the factory, my GSR took some work (and still is) to make it look dope.
