H&R Sport Springs on Factory Shocks/Struts?

I just called H&R ans asked them if their H&R sport springs which lower 1.75F and 1.5R could be used on factory shocks and struts. They said yes that the sport springs were designed to work with the factory supsension and that the the shocks won't blow. Is that true?

if they told you that they are full of shit, 4 years ago i bought a set of eibach springs and a brand new set of oem struts and less than 1 year later all 4 of my struts were busted, so i just bought a full coilover system from tein there awsome rides better than any other car ive rode in.

i ran just the springs when i just got outta college (when i first started modding my car haha)..

was gonna go coilover set up, so i just wanted to lower the car a bit. my stock struts were perfect.

tho' i don't reconmend running with stock, as they don't provide the travel the lowered springs force it to
