the cable that controls the air mix door may have come loose, so it's not letting the heated air into the system. You'll have to pull the climate control and verify it's functioning.

I don't recall the 3g Integra using vacuum to operate the climate controls. The temperature control lever operates on the heater valve, which controls the coolant running through the heater core, and the air mix door, which regulates the temperature by varying the ratio of cold air to heated air. Either you have a problem with lack of coolant flowing in the heater core (clogged core or bad heater valve) or you have a problem with the air mix door.

check the heater valve first. it's easy and cheep to replace. they do have a tendency to get mucked up inside and stop working.

THANKS FOR ALL YOU HELP AND IDEAS...

they worked like a charm... the valve was stuck closed. i do need to get a new one, but i really don't feel like changing it just yet... i just redid the themrostat, and had flushed the cooling system a few days ago..... but i will do it...
