hey guys my friend has a 97 teg but every time he drives the car the ignition fuse blows anyone ever encounter something like this?

Sounds like a short somewhere. Has he been playing around with the wires recently? Had an alarm or anything like that installed?

thats what fuses are there for, they will blow to protect the rest of the wiring. It sounds like a bad ground or something, but basically that fuse has too much amprage being sent to it, causing it to blow.

Wiring diagrams arent hard to read, and the repair manual will have a full one for you. this is something you guys could figure out with a little research online and a few hand tools. Or you can spend the money at a shop, either way it will be a learning process.
