help 91 swap

i want to swap b18c1 a GSR engine in my 91 integra there is only one probume, my car hasa calbe tranny, and the b18c1 GSR tranny's are all hydro,
can you change the mounts and calbes and wat not, how much work is it, or is it not worth it, and just get cable tranny with the b18c1 GSR engine, please reply and tell me i only have few days before i order the complete swap


has any one done this swap, how di you like it, fast slow???

well you could always use a B16 cable tranny or LS, converting hydro to cable or vice versa is a bitch to do, had to do that on my 94 EX when I dropped my B16a in there.

so the the tranny from the b16a1 and the ls tranny is just as good as the b18c1 GSR, and it would built right now the engine.

sorry dude but no, the B16 tranny has tighter gears and LS has longer gears (actually 1st and 2nd gear is about the same) but they aren't as good as the GSR tranny on the B18C, now if you can get your hands on a J1 tranny then that would be perfect, of course you won't be able to do long runs and redline in 5th only making it to 115mph or so, but its perfect for 1/4 mile. J1 are rare around here and hard to get your hands on...I would just slap on the B16 tranny for now and build it up or just wait til you find something better. The motor won't run the same with the LS tranny but with the B16 gets you close. In any way you choose all B-Series tranny bolt right on to each other. Since you already have the GSR motor and I'm assuming you have a LS, you should run LS/VTEC w/B16 tranny, that would do perfectly. Of course its all up to you

thanks bro, the probume is how hard is it to do the ls/vtec conv i heard it was super lot of work, from wat i think its baslcy add some wirs to the wire harness for the vtec, and like change some oil lines and wat not, but other thing is its really hard to find a b16 vtec head like the complete thing,. it would be great if you told me some places to get it from, i am from canada too so ya i donno..
