baboonstyle is infamous around these parts
help....exhaust install

jus installed an exhaust for my friend the pipe is too close to the shifter so it bangs everytime he shifts. anyone else have this probably. its a extreme n1 exhaust. thanks.

gsr squirrel is an unknown quantity at this point
if the exhaust was made for your car then it shouldn't hit the shifter. try bending the hangers to make it hang lower

Same here. Mine is the Skunk 2 N1 and "Ting's" slightly into 5th.

But, just when I shift aggressively into 5th gear. Sometimes you can tweak it a bit and push the pipe away from the shifter a bit,,, And other times, you just have to live with it. Regard;ess of if it was made for your car.

really? i've been through like 5 exhausts and never had that problem. guess i'm lucky.
