HELP: Timing belt

Iam trying to install my timing belt belt, but my cam sprockets won't stay aligned. They are pushing against Cylinder #3 rocker arms.

Are they supposed to be like that?
thanks B18B

anyone?
BTW, I just installed the belt. Every thong lines up at TDC, but there is a little slack in the belt between the cam sprockets @ TDC. Is this okay?

Please help

Do the valves bend that easy? When I took off my cam sprocket, I think the valves made contact with my pistons. Sould I be concerned?
Would a comp. test tell me if my vavles are bent?

nov0798 is an unknown quantity at this point
simply align the cams with the holes in the hold down caps with the holes in the cams. place a 5mm punch or allen wrenchin there and this will hold the cams. i do nor recommend pulling the tensioner with a coat hanger as this is not the proper tension the belt should rceive. if you pull the belt to tight then when the engine heats up the belt will be way to tight and you will be placing unwanted stress on it and the other components attached to it. remember the engine actually grows taller as it heats up and this is where the extra slack goes once it heats up.the tensioner has a spring built into it to take up the proper slack in the belt. i have installed many belts on my teg and have always followed acuras advice and have never had a problem. i suggest you do the same.
