high flow cat question

When I bought my 94 LS, i noticed that the previous owner had the cat removed and new piping ran from the header back to the weapon r muffler. It is pretty loud when the silencer is out, and I was wondering if I have a high flow cat installed will it quieten it down some and give it a better sound, and will it give me some low end response?

Yes, it will quiet it down.

And yes you will still have good response with a good HF cat.

Get a Carsound Cat.

Remember too that you could also alter the sound of the motor by adding 1 or 2 resonators and or a new muffler.

In general though, the cat WILL quiet the exhaust sound.
