Integralover is an unknown quantity at this point
tech wrench how do i connect my Vtec

I was wondering how do i connect the vtec on my 95 integra...what happen is i have a 95 LS integra and i swapped the Engine for a 95 GSR engine and the vtec solinoid has 2 wires hanging...how do i connect the vtec..i need as much help as i can get...thanks in advance

wires hanging? are they cut with no connectors? my wires from the solenoid and ecu just snap together with grey connectors.

He's right they SHOULD NOT be hanging there by themselves. You are gonna need the small harness they go to that clip he was talking about. Who ever took that out did a half ass job.

you need to get a vtec ecu. the p72 is what comes in gsrs.

Yea i do have the ECU already.....the connector to the solinoid is there with 2 wires cut...but how do i connect it to the ECU?

what are you talking about? is it cut inside the car or inside the engine bay?? you keep saying to the solenoid. you're making it sound like it's cut where it connects to the solenoid. if it's inside the car to the ecu, get someone's apexi vafc 1/2 wiring diagram and find the vtec socket, then connect it accordingly. either way, it should be on the ecu harness and the other end should be connected to the solenoid with grey connectors. if you don't want to deal with it, take it to a technician who knows what they're doing.

Run the vtec solenoid wire to the A4 pin of your ECU, and the vtec oil pressure wire to the D6 pin. OBD1 Honda ECU pinouts
