around $80 for the install and $60-$100 for the alignment.
Suspension is pretty easy to do tho if you have the right tools. Took my friend and I about 3 hours for the first install. Since then its been faster and faster.
Just need a few tools and your set.

Yeah, make sure you get a spring compressor from like an auto parts store, it's a lot safer and easier. Even though we've done my friends' cars, my parents wouldn't let me do my own. I couldn't convince them how easy and safe it was to do. But anyway, here in Seattle the best price I could find was $100 w/o alignment, but I paid $120 because I wanted it done at this one badass garage that has really accomplished mechanics.
When I was calling around for prices, this one rednecky performance shop must have thought I was a punk rich kid calling or just hated imports, because he quoted me $448 , without alignment!!! I was like, "are you sure?.....4 springs, 4 shocks, one car, not coilovers, no custom work.....$448??!!!" What an asshole.

If you do it yourself just get a spring compressor. It's only about $15 and makes things much safer. Chances are your shock is not going to shoot out but just to be safe use it.

Hey, I have a question. I wanted to drop my car so I had my uncle do it for me. He has done it for a lot of people including two other integras (two 94). I have a 95 and he had a air gun but we could not get the bolts off the back left arm thing. We used DW-40 and stuff. Then we called some people up that own their own shops and they said some Integra bolts just will not come off unless you break them. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

Yes this is common for older integras. The bolt just dosent come off. I have had a friend use a torch and heat the bolt up to take it off. You might want to try that before just breaking it.

I saw that my words just changed on the timing question. pretty much the same thing I was trying to say. People need to know before they try to have a car that requires 97+ octane.
Agreed,
again, sorry for the edit problem, my fault, just sprucing things up here since I haven't been around in a day.
Originally posted by jldao actually you don't need a spring compressor, but you do need an air gun - brace it against your tires and power the nut out.
thats unsafe, no one should do this. Even though stock integra/civic springs arent compressed that much as opposed to some springs on some cars.....my friend got hit by one by someone doing that same jackass shit like whats suggested above and it left a HUGE fucking welt on his leg and he could hardly walk that night it hurt so bad. I suggest NOT doing that and getting a spring compressor and doing it the right fucking way people.
most i'd pay a shop to install springs/shocks is about $200.....which is very fair.

i had that problem....we took the assembly down to my basement, hacksawed the shock in half....put the top half of the shock into a mounted vice grip and tightened it down HARD onto the shock piston.....then we got a BIG cheater bar and a wrench and cracked that bolt real quick and it came right off. That option doesnt work for the people who are too cheap to do things right and get new shocks when lowering though....
