Depending on who does it and what they use, and paint job. Some people have a piece of metal welded behind it to insure a better job.
However, there are some that just use bondo and sand it down. But by doing so you run hte risk of it bubbling up in hot/cold wheather changes, also if someone hits it hard enough it'll poke a hole in it.
Many friends of mine have done the 2nd option and did it themselves by using Bondo sander and then getting a shop to paint it over for them. It didn't cost them too much, just some manual labor on your part.
Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

Think about it this way, you'll have to paint both doors and the rear 1/4 panel + the cost of welding in new pieces of metal (The only rightway to do it).
Won't be cheap. Goto a bodyshop you trust and ask for an estimate.
Bondo is ghetto...and I think Civics and tegs look stupid without side moldings, my CX doesn't come with them and even if you filled it in I think it would still look stupid...it needs some lines there...just my opinion tho I'm actually going to buy the side moldings for my EG later down the road.
