Most honda/acuras are stolen quite frequently, your not going to find a car that no one will steal. Just a nice security system and plenty of precautions are your best bet.

Car: 2000 Integra GSR (stolen) =(
Mods:
most honda/acura cars are stolen...and like Coletrain25 just stated there isn't a car that nobody will steal...
just don't be stupid and leave it over someplace shady...park where there's people, replace the door key hole with the handle from a 4 door, reline the latch release for your hood, take off the auto door lock/unlock switch and replace it from one off the RS, etcetc..
make it harder to steal and the thief will go to another car..
hope i helped...cuz tegs are just as susceptable to theft as with any other car..
i wouldnt sway away from buying an integra just because it has a chance of gettin stolen, any car that would be used for modding, which is what you obviously want, has an equal chance of getting stolen. As long as you take the proper precautions and dont leave it anywhere stupid than you should be fine.
if you want the car that means someone else must want it too, right? Buy the teg you want and get a good alarm with a 2way remote that'll decrease the odds it'll get stolen. Or atleast you can run out and kick some car theif ass while their trying
The teg is actually rated in the top ten as most stolen vehicles per capita. Insurance is not teenager or new driver friendly I can tell you that.
Probably the most simple reason is because most of the time, the teg's motors whether it be B18b or B18c, is being used in a swap into cars like Civics and CRX's.

when i bought my GSR the most stolen car in america was the 96 gsr coupe which was exactly what I bought. After I saw that I wished I bought a different year, but deffinately not a different car entirely

i agree with everyone. Don't shy away because of statistics. I locked my keys in my car one day. It took the freakin' locksmith an hour to get them out.
all i can say is go with your gut and now a days thieves dont car about alarms cause they can fuck up the battery without poping the hood or if there really good they'll flatbed it and you will never see it again so its your call just go with your gut
My teg got stolen once and it still gets the stares sometimes..my best advise is to just take precautions..just like verybody says...and try not to attract too much attentions to it...the fact that tegs look real hot when modded is bad enough...when you revv around your neighborhood or turn your music real loud when cruising is going to increase the chance of it geting stolen... so just be smart about it...
don't get discouraged because of stats man.....get the car that you reallywant...just be cool..don't be a fool...let them drool......
dude, any car you get honda/acura and planning to mod it has a chance of getting stolen. Just gotta take the proper precautions like a good alarm system and keeping the car in a good area (if you have a garage). Over here not alot of integras get stolen but I don't think anyone has the balls to jack mines, they wouldn't wanna jeopardise there health.

it was- but it isn't anymore. Escalade, Eclipse and Stratus top that list. With the integra stopping production in 2001 it quickly fell off. Insurace remain a biotch though. If you insure the car properly no worries about theft. Full coverage along with companies like Nationwide or Progressive offering aftermarket parts coverage help protect your investment. $4000 in aftermarket parts coverage on my GSR cost $72/6months. Well worth it.
