I got a shit load of questions
I have a 91 Integra GS with only 144,000 miles on it. It has a few issues but nothing major.
1. What can I do about a leaking sunroof? It's fucking terrible.
2. Are there any good exhaust systems out there that will give me the performance I need without sounding like an angry lawnmower on steriods? I have a NOPI HKS style muffler matched to a magnaflow cat. The shit is loud as hell.
3. What can I do to get more power/torque from the engine with a paramecium butt sized budget? It has decent giddyup but for the amount of noise I'm making I NEED MORE POWER!!! ARR!! ARRR!!
4. I plan on doing an engine swap down the road, any suggestions? I was told I could put a 2.0 liter CR-V engine in it with little to no problems or mods. How true is that? Would an Accord SI engine be better? Or could I just get the bottom end overbored to 2.0 liters and buy new pistons and shit? I heard about K-series swaps but wouldn't that be expensive as hell? Has anyone swapped a K into a 90-93 Teg body? Please help.
5. I'd rather do supercharged induction what are my options?
6. Are Teg's known for electrical issues? My hazard light, rear defrost, cruise control switches and dome light don't work and all the fuses are OK I checked. What da problem is shawty?
7. Oh yeah the engine idles on the low side, can I adjust that myself? I just had the timing belt replaced and I have new plugs and wires so what da problem is?
The car really has potential to be a sweet ride so I would greatly appreciate any and all help/feedback about my wonderful POS. Thanks bitches!!

First and foremost I would do a compression and leakdown test on your car. You want to make sure your engine is running as it should before you dump money into it. It will save you money in the long run by checking that first.

Thanks Yosh
Yo thanks I didn't think about that. The throttle response is good when I drive no hesitation or hiccups so I figured I'm getting good compression. I'll get that checked out asap.

As far as swaps, K series expencive as hell. You can make the same power with a b17, or b18c series swap much easier and cheaper way to make 200hp.

He's right about that, how do you feel about swapping in a B18B then boosting it? After you figure out everthing else....just do simple DIYs for now....

Haulin' ass sounds gooooood
Thanks for that. I always assumed more power meant shoehorning a bigger engine into the car. I thought about superchargering because I heard it required less maintenance than a turbo. I appreciate the ideas I'm going to learn a lot on this forum. For the record, a daily driver with whiplash inducing haul ass ability is the goal for my teg
Hey it doesn't sound like just a lawnmower, a lawnmower on steroids!
Do you know of any mufflers that aren't quite as loud and somewhat affordable?

There are some twin loop mufflers on e-bay for like $50. They have some sort of technology where I think there is a second chamber full of midgets that tell the exhaust note to "shhhh" when the gasses pass by.
